This was actually written on tuesday and yesterday 'cos too tired to finish it so I saved it as a draft and did the rest today :)

--------------------------------------------------

Well I am bushed today!

I seriously need to get a good nights rest. Seriously.

Two nights ago I was sat up till 4am talking to Lizzie. No I dont know why either... I was still bimbling round on the nettie at 1.30am and Lizzie text me saying that she couldnt sleep so I figured I would go and chat for a bit. It was a bit longer than intended, particularly as I had to be up at 7.30! Oh dear this was going to hurt...

After all three of my alarms went off several times (one of which is the theme tune to Alvin and The Chipmunks which made me want to lob it at the wall) I somehow made it in time to meet Beth and Emma. In order to keep awake I made a Lottie special coffee - 3 heaped spoons of extra rich kenco with 2 sugars mixed together with a wee bit of hot water to blend it together and then filled to the top with semi skimmed to cool it down. Then. Down in one!

This kept me pretty happy until 3pm when I had my usual energy dip - it was a monster! It was getting pretty hard to keep focussed and indeed awake. Becka seemed to find it hard to keep awake so I guess I did ok in the end!

Last night I rather stupidly stayed up till 2am doing various bits and bobs on the nettie having to get up at 7.30 in order to get a shower and breakky before meeting E and B again. Then I spent most of the day bimbling around and picked a long way home (damn my sense of adventure!)

I did go in the paternoster though woo! I have a feeling I may of mentioned it on here before what a paternoster is, but if not take a look on Wikipedia . It was so ace! I went with Beth to the Arts Tower for her to sign up for a critical thinking workshop. This either meant 12 flights of staris or..... Paternoster yaaaaay!

There was a reasonable queue for the 'nost so we waited with increasing nervousnous. The time came. Me and Beth looked at each other to say "Oh my. We may make complete idiots of ourselves". The 'nost got closer and closer, we steppped up onto it.... I say stepped up I was actually stepping down but was slow about it so ended up kind of half hopping upwards whilst making a small squeaking noise. People looked on with stern faces. You could just tell they were thinking "Bloody freshers..."

There is something rather worrying about travelling through a 19 storey building in a small wobbling box with only 3 sides. Beth and I exchanged knowing looks of apprehension...
After we got off (I actuakky stumbled off) on the 12th floor and got Beth signed up for her philosophy thingummy, we decided to be adventurous and go up and around instead of down.
The suspense bulit as we got higher...

"17"
"18"
"19"
"How many floors are th... Arrrrgh!!!!!"
All light suddenly dissapeared as we entered the very top compartment and the compartment shook worryingly and started moving sideways.

"Oh my"
"Holy crap!"

Before we knew it we were spat downwards back on to our correct path. We tryed our best to look dignified and not at all wussy as we passed a smiling student who must have heard our pathetic cries hehe.

After far too much walking around I finally ended up back in my room. Knackered.

Sleep seems like a good idea :)
