Now why exactly did an 18 year old Catholic girl from America or as I suspect an "18 year old" "Catholic" girl from America decide to pick me out of several million MySpace users? The girl has 5 "friends" one of which is Tom.

It bothers me somewhat as the chances of her picking me randomly out of a pile are slim. Instead she must have either

A: Searched for a keyword and found me

or

B: Got to me by clicking on links between friends

This either means that

A: I have some words on my MySpace page of questionable taste

or

B: I have some friends of questionable taste.

And why even send it to me? I am a girl of her age and I accept that this is the 21st century but the chances of me being gay are fairly slim. And what girl with any self respect would hold "webcam seminars" free of charge for men to post comments such as the following:

What an odd person...

I thought I would take a look at my myspace today as a break from searhing for what must be one of the most elusive books in print in the UK. I have been sorting out a load of complicated Uni stuff today, part of which was to find the book "Teeline for Journalists" so I could start learning shorthand in preparation for my first week.

Well.

Amazon will take 2/4 weeks to deliver it (which in my previous experience means about 6 months)
WHSmiths wanted to charge me £4 postage so I requested it to be delivered to my store only to find out that WHSmiths "don't take SOLO". Who doesn't take solo? Thats hlaf of all debit cards you fools!
I finally found a little more with Ottakars who had a very good website that lets you enquire your local store on particular products. I will have to wait 24 hours for a reply though....

Hope I can get it sorted soon.

My bank balance is quickly trickling away too. Just this afternoon I paid £100 depostit for my room. Just another £3400 to go then....

At least I am looking forward to my course and meeting new people. It really looks like I am going to have a good time. I bet I get homesick after about a week for a while. No doubt I will whine about it on this blog!

Anyhoo Mum came home today which is nice :) She has lost loads of weight which unnerves me slightly. She doesnt quite look like I am used to. There is also something faintly disturbing about her hobbling around with a walking stick. I guess its just because I am not used to seeing her so vunerable and kindof reminds me of what things might be like in 20 years.

Blah. Can't be arsed to be morbid hehe!

Well I think that is about all I have to say right now. I feel the need to end on a joke again.
